This message is to inform our client base and community about our plans to address the news related to the coronavirus (COVID-19). As we continue to monitor developments regarding the coronavirus, Amy Wienands Real Estate recognizes that some of our clients may be affected by the impact of this global outbreak.

We believe it is our role and responsibility during this time to keep everyone as safe as possible; this includes our clients, agents, and employees. We will continue to actively monitor the news updates and will continue to practice preventive measures as advised by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).

With that being said, we will always honor any requests you have while your home is listed on the MLS for showings, as well as any buyers who are still in search of their next home. At Amy Wienands Real Estate, we indefinitely choose to invest in the most effective and efficient technologies to best serve our clients. We have an array of options for meeting with our professionals if an in-person consultation is not an option. If you so choose, we can offer the following technology supplementations of in-person appointments/showings:

Our Waterloo office is still actively open for client appointments, and business is as usual. However, we are taking preventative and safety measures each day to ensure the safety of our clients, agents, and employees. The Amy Wienands Real Estate Team is practicing safety measures as follows:

- Properly sanitizing all meeting rooms, conference rooms, desks, door handles, etc. 

- (2) Air Scrubbers purifying the air with sanitary coverage of 8,000+ square feet

- All employees of AWRE are practicing social distancing, even within workspaces & meetings

- Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces with products proven to kill other strains of coronaviruses

- Providing easily accessible hand sanitizer, antibacterial wipes, and hand-washing stations

- Washing hands often with soap & warm/hot water for at least 20 seconds; using hand sanitizer if hand washing is not an option

We will continue to trust the local and national health officials in their efforts to contain the virus and will be in touch with any updates regarding the sale of your home. If necessary, our employees will have the ability to work remotely, and still, be fully accessible for any questions you may have. However, in the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns regarding any upcoming appointment(s), please do not hesitate to call so we can discuss further action.

Because this is a rapidly changing situation, local public health authorities have updated information regarding travel and other questions.
