Wife, Mom, Daughter, Sister. Born & raised in Waterloo. Went to the University of Northern Iowa to study education. Met the most amazing person in my life my junior year of college. Married him 6 months later on the hottest day of July, 1999. "When you know, you know". 2 boys, Maxwell and Cooper. Can't imagine life without them. They bring more joy to my life than I knew I could ever experience. Lived in Des Moines for 10 years. Started my teaching career in Adel. Taught 3rd grade for 2 years. Stayed home with my boys for the next 8 years. Those years spent at home were the hardest, but most joyful. Moved back to Waterloo and began work at AWRE. Good to be home. Truly blessed.
